Children’s health & safety is our top priority

Safety

  • our beautiful property is situated on top of a hill, off the main road

  • our property is fully fenced in

  • we have collaborated with local law enforcement to strategize crisis plans and building safety measures

  • we hold regular fire & lockdown drills

  • there are recording cameras in each classroom, common area, & outdoor play area which are monitored by our office staff

Health

Our school is a peanut & tree nut free facility. We are allergy aware, and work diligently with parents to create and enact allergy action plans when needed.

We do our very best to prevent the spread of illness in our school, and we take our role in children’s defense against being sick very seriously. Here are the measures that we are taking:

  • high touch surfaces & objects are sanitized throughout the day

  • classroom floors are sanitized daily

  • each classroom & common area contains an antimicrobial air purifier with a UV sanitization feature. See technology here

  • all classrooms & common areas are sanitized at least once weekly with ozone cleaning system while the building is uninhabited. See article here

  • send children home if they show signs of illness, including a temperature of 100.4 or higher

Here is what we require of our families:

  • if a child is sick, please keep them home

  • in order to return to school, children must be fever free for 24 hours without the help of medications like Motrin or Tylenol

  • comply with state mandated vaccination schedules & yearly physical exams
